As Catholic educators, together
with the family, our school works to instill Catholic values so that our
students can integrate and maintain these values in today's society.
Because we recognize the God-given uniqueness of each child, "Continuous
Progress" is the basis for the development of each child's academic skills
according to their ability.
We choose to accomplish our goals by
following the directives of our Bishops as expressed in the document "To
Teach As Jesus Did".
MESSAGE The children are taught the
precepts of the Faith and develop an awareness of, and a commitment to,
the basic Christian values of love, peace, justice, brotherhood and
respect for self and others.
COMMUNITY Community is an inherent
part of our faith education. Through community and school activities, the
school family tries to develop in our students a recognition of man's need
for and his responsibility to his fellow man.
WORSHIP The school
family grows in fellowship by coming together to worship God and by making
a shared response to faith. Through daily prayer, Mass, preparation for
and reception of the sacraments, we grow and are nourished in our life of
faith.
SERVICE Service is the end result of effective Catholic
Education. The student realizes that love for God is reflected through
love of and service to mankind. Such sensitivity to an awareness of the
needs of others has always been a part of our traditions and
values. |
